Originally a native Montrealer, I paint in both Barbados and Canada . My focus is to incorporate my love of colour translating the images of both these locations into paintings that show the influence one has on the other.
It is truly amazing what an impact a wonderful tropical island, such as Barbados, can have on all the senses. Primarily for me, it's the visual ones with all the colour and sunshine. Although the image shown here is truly Bajan, I use vivid, beautiful colour everywhere in my art to particularly brighten up those sometimes dreary northern days.
Please look through my brand new 'Flowers Forever Gallery', a new series which shows smaller sized paintings ready-to -hang or display tabletop on their own easels; intended as gifts to someone else, or to yourself. These flowers will last forever! There is also my 'Canadian Gallery' showing new work inspired by winter.
