This new series of oil paintings was inspired by the yearning to see 'out there', past the lockdowns experienced, an idea of freedom lost. They all appropriately show turtles which represent longevity and wisdom. The use of a favourite colour turquoise represents tranquility, good forture and hope and is a symbol of friendship and happiness.
